GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

  1. PROCEDURES
    • All abstracts must be submitted via the system at https://pit51.perdami.or.id/login . Submissions by other means, such as email, post, or fax will NOT be processed
    • The abstract submission platform closes upon the deadline. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute system congestion. Late entries will NOT be allowed
    • You may use the “Save Draft” function to save any work in progress. Once you click the “Submit” button, modifications will no longer be possible
    • Upon successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgment email within 2 hours. In case you do not receive it, please contact committee [email]
    • The Abstract Reviewing Committee will conduct a confidential peer review procedure, and its decision is final
    • You will be notified of the results by May 14th 2026

 

  1. AUTHORS’ AND SUBMITTERS’ ROLES
    • General Practitioners: All scientific works completed when the author is working as general practitioner, and he/she has not yet enrolled the residency program during the event.
    • Resident: All scientific works completed when the author is still undergoing the residency program, and presented not more than 2 years after graduation.
    • Ophthalmologist: All scientific works completed when the author has become an ophthalmologist
    • Each abstract may be attributed to a maximum of one (1) FIRST AUTHOR plus five (5) CO-AUTHOR(S). The first author should obtain each co-author’s consent before including their names.
    • Provide full names and affiliations of all authors as they should be published. Initials are accepted only for middle names.
    • The first author is the PRESENTING AUTHOR by default, but may delegate the role to a co-author if necessary. The first author must register online before submitting the abstract and upload the abstract from their account. If the abstract accepted the presenting author must pay the full registration fee, and attend the event to make the presentation in person.
    • The SUBMITTER can be any of the authors or an authorized representative. They will be the contact person for all abstract-related matters, including result notifications. Please make sure they provide a correct email address which they regularly check.
  1. LANGUAGES AND STRUCTURE

        All abstracts must be submitted in English via website with the following format:

  • Headings: 
  • Case report / case series: Introduction, Case Illustration, Discussion, Conclusion, Keyword
  • Research: Introduction and Objective, Methods, Result, Conclusion, Keywords
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 11pt
  • Line spacing: single-spaced
  • The abstract must not exceed 250 words (excluding keywords)
  • The abstract must be received by April, 30th 2026 (23.59 Western Indonesia Time)
  • Scientific works has never been presented or published in any journal
  1. COPYRIGHT

        PIT PERDAMI 51 holds the copyright to all the materials presented at the congress and may reproduce the materials in any form for distribution

  1. DECISION TYPES ON FREE PAPERS AND POSTERS
    • If the abstract format did not follow the requirements, the participants will not be included in the competition
    • Abstracts may be redirected from paper to poster categories based on evaluation


E-Poster and Full Paper Submission Guidelines

E-poster

  • Participants must send the e-poster in English with the following format:
    • Case Report / Case Series: Title, Authors, Introduction, Case Illustration (including diagram, table, and picture), Discussion, Conclusion, and References
    • For the references, write at least 3 references in the last 5 years
    • E-posters must be submitted in JPEG format with minimal resolution 1920 x 1080 pixel, portrait view, minimum font size of 6pt, file size less than 5 MB, and uploaded via website (The template can be downloaded in : TEMPLATE_E-POSTER_PIT51)
    • The layout of the e-poster template is an example for the authors to follow, however authors are free to use the space within this template as they wish.
    • Participants are not allowed to include any institution or affiliation logo in the e-poster.
    • The participants are not allowed to include any institution name
    • Branding at the top and bottom of the template are mandatory and must be included.
    • The template has been configured to be the correct size for e-poster display.
    • All text, lettering, diagrams and photographs should be large enough to be legible at a distance of 1.5m.
  • E-poster must be received before May 21st 2026 (23.59 Western Indonesia Time)
  • Participants have to complete the registration payment first before the specified submission date
  • If the e-poster has not been received by the committee according to deadline, the participant will be disqualified

 

Full Paper

  • All full paper must be submitted in English via website with the following format:
    • Full paper must be submitted using Microsoft Word Document with 2-column page (published format)
    • Headings: Abstract, Introduction, Method, Result, Discussion, Conclusion
    • Full paper must be written in A4 paper size and restricted to 6 (six) pages, including references
    • Supplementary files are excluded from the 6 pages full paper which has been determined
    • Full Paper : Font: Times New Roman; Font size: 11pt; Line spacing: single-spaced
    • References: Font: arial; Font size: 8pt; Line spacing: single-spaced
    • Full paper begin with an abstract in English and written in one column.
    • The title must be brief, concise, and in written in capital letters
    • The participants are not allowed to include any institution name
    • Full paper must be received before May 21st 2026 (23.59 Western Indonesia Time)
    • Full paper is uploaded with PDF format via website 
    • Participants must attach the Turnitin Feedback Version report in PDF format at the end of the full paper. To prevent self-plagiarism due to system errors, please ensure that the Turnitin repository mode is turned off. Papers will be accepted only if the Turnitin similarity index is ≤ 25%
    • Participants must declare any use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of the paper. AI may only be used for scientific content development and must not be used to replace the presenter
    • If the full paper format did not follow the requirements, the participants will not be included in the competition
    • Participants have to complete the registration payment first before the submission date
    • Participants who pass the full paper selection will be announced later via email to continue for online presentation
IMPORTANT DATES
  • Abstract submission: February 1st  - April 30th, 2026; Extend to May 3rd, 2026
  • Abstract acceptance announcement: May 14th, 2026
  • Full paper & E-poster submission deadline: May 14th - 21st, 2025
  • Acceptance of Full Paper & E-poster Announcement : May 29th, 2026
  • Recorded presentation submission (for Full Paper only): May 29th - June 9th, 2026
  • Online full paper oral presentation: June 27th - 28th, 2026 & July 4th - 5th, 2026
