Dr. dr. I Wayan Gede Jayanegara, Sp.M(K) is a consultant ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Denpasar, and a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Udayana. He completed his ophthalmology specialist training at Universitas Indonesia, pursued fellowship training in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Jakarta Eye Center, and earned his doctoral degree from Universitas Udayana. With decades of experience in clinical practice and ophthalmology education, he is actively involved in training ophthalmologists, including as a trainer in advanced intraocular lens fixation techniques such as the Yamane procedure.
