She graduated from the School of Medicine at Udayana University, Denpasar, through a Fellowship in Community Ophthalmology at Cicendo Eye Hospital, Bandung, and trained with the IAPB in Bangkok, Thailand; including serving as the Chair of the Medical Commission at Bali Mandara Eye Hospital.
