Dr. Retno Ekantini is an ophthalmologist at Dr. Yap Eye Hospital, Yogyakarta. She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 1983, completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the same institution in 1996, and obtained her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Medicine, UGM in 2016. From 2003 to 2023, she served as the Head of the Glaucoma Subdivision in the Department of Ophthalmology at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
