Shanti F. Boesoirie, MD, PhD is an ophthalmologist and consultant in reconstructive oculoplastic oncology at Cicendo Eye Hospital, and currently serves as Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Padjadjaran University. She earned her MD degree in Medicine (2000), completed her Residency Program in General Ophthalmology (2002-2006), obtained a Master of Science in Ophthalmology (2003-2007), and later received a PhD (2010-2015). She also completed a fellowship in Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery at the Academisch Medisch Centrum, Amsterdam, Netherlands
